Publication Ethics
Mimbar Administrasi Mandiri is a reviewed journal published by the STISIP Widyapuri Mandiri. This statement describes the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the process of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the editor in chief, the Editorial Board, reviewers and publishers.
Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication
The publication of an article in the Mimbar Administrasi Mandiri journal is an important building block in the development of a coherent and recognized network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. Therefore, it is important to agree on standards of ethical behavior expected of all parties involved in publishing: authors, journal editors, peer-reviewed partners, publishers and the public.
STISIP Widyapuri Mandiri as the publisher of the Mimbar Administrasi Mandiri takes the task of maintaining all stages of publishing very seriously and we are aware of our ethics and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue does not impact or influence editorial decisions. In addition, STISIP Widyapuri Mandiri and the Editorial Board will assist in communication with other journals and / or publishers, as this is useful and necessary.
Publication Decisions
Mimbar Administrasi Mandiri editor is responsible for deciding which submitted articles should be published. The validation of the work and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive this decision. Editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and constrained by applicable legal provisions, such as defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. Editors may confer with other editors or peer partners in making these decisions.
Aspects of Justice
Editors at all times evaluate the text for the author's intellectual content regardless of the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, nationality or political views.
Confidentiality
Editors and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than authors, reviewers, potential reviewers, other appropriate editorial boards, and publishers, as appropriate.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Material not published in a proposed manuscript may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.
Duties of a reviewer
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Bestari partners assist editors in making editorial decisions and can assist writers in improving the quality of manuscripts through editors.
Speed
Every reviewer who is selected and feels that he does not meet the requirements / interest to review the manuscript or does not have enough time to review must immediately notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.
Confidentiality
Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Manuscripts must not be shared or discussed with others unless authorized by the editor.
Standard of Objectivity
Reviews must be conducted objectively. Personal criticism from the author is not appropriate. Reviewers must state their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Source recognition
Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors. Statements that previously reported observations, derivations, or arguments must be accompanied by relevant citations. Reviewers should also state to the editor any substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscripts under consideration and any other articles published.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Information or ideas obtained in the review process must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should reject manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest as a result of competition, collaboration, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions associated with the manuscript.
Author's Duty
Reporting Standards
The author's original research report must present an accurate report of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of the significance of the research. The underlying data must be accurately included in the manuscript. A manuscript must contain sufficient detail and references to allow others to imitate the work. Reports of fraud or intentionally providing inaccurate information are unethical and unacceptable behavior.
Data Access and Retention
Authors are required to provide raw data related to the manuscript for editorial, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data, if possible, and should in any case save such data after publication.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that they have written completely original work, and if the author has used the work and / or words of others this has been appropriately cited.
Multiple, Redundant and Concurrent Publications
An author may not publish manuscripts describing the essence of the same research in more than one journal or major publication. Submitting the same manuscript for more than one journal at the same time is an unethical and unacceptable publishing behavior.
Source recognition
Proper recognition of the work of others must always be given. Authors must cite publications that have been influential in determining the work they report on.
List of Manuscript Authors
Authors should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, implementation or interpretation of the reported research. Everyone who has made a significant contribution must be registered as a co-author. Other people or parties who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they must be recognized or registered as contributors. The correspondence writer must ensure that all suitable authors are listed in the manuscript and that there are no non-conformists, and that all authors have viewed and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to the submission of publication.
